Proovad is a static website. We do not offer accounts, we do not run first-party analytics, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.

Server logs: like any website, our hosting provider records standard request data (such as IP address, browser user-agent, and timestamps) for security, abuse prevention, and reliable operation.

Link-measurement beacon: when you click an outbound Amazon link, we send a small, fire-and-forget beacon to our own endpoint recording only a short label for which link variant was shown. This lets us measure, in aggregate, which link format performs better. The beacon carries no name, email, account identifier, or browsing profile, and is not tied to your identity.

Proovad does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and does not use third-party tracking cookies. Any storage strictly necessary for the site to function is limited to that purpose.

Product links on these UK pages go directly to Amazon and carry no affiliate tag, so we currently earn nothing when you follow them and no purchase is attributed to us. Your activity on Amazon is governed by Amazon's own privacy notice. We do not receive your name, payment details, or the contents of your orders from Amazon. If this changes, this section and the site footer will change with it.

We use server logs only to operate and secure the site, and the link-measurement beacon only to compare link formats in aggregate. We do not sell or share personal data, and we do not use it for advertising, profiling, or automated decisions that affect you.

Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's standard retention periods and then discarded. We have not yet set our own retention period, which is one of the gaps named at the top of this page. Link-variant measurements are aggregate counts that contain no personal data.

Under the UK GDPR you have rights over personal data we hold about you, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Because Proovad holds no accounts and builds no profiles, in practice we hold little or no personal data that identifies you. To make a request, email privacy@proovad.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office.

Proovad is intended for adults making purchasing decisions and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact privacy@proovad.com and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
